'CSI' spin-off: Patricia Arquette leads Cyber Crime Division
Behold, a look at the potential next member of the CSI franchise family.
The exclusive photo above is a look at Patricia Arquette as Avery Ryan, a special agent in charge of the FBI’s Cyber Crime Division, the office at the center of the upcomingCSI spin-off.
When announced back in March, the series was billed as the inside look at a team tasked with solving “high-octane crimes that start in the mind, live online, and play out into the real world.” But instead of a traditional pilot, the concept is integrated into an episode of the mothership series and set to air April 30.
The episode, which marks Arquette’s return to TV after her days on Medium, was written and produced by Carol Mendelsohn, Anthony E. Zuiker, and Ann Donahue — all longtime vets of CSI.
